GO-GIRL has enriched the academic experiences of over 800 adolescent girls since the first class completed the program in 2002. Perhaps your daughter participated in the program or you were a university mentor for the program. In either case, you know first hand how GO-GIRL can make a difference in the mathematical confidence and competence of the girls and foster an interest in mathematics, science, and technology related careers.
GO-GIRLs are our future leaders!
The program was initially funded through a grant from the National Science Foundation and has received support from the Michigan Department of Education, the RGK Foundation, Wayne State University and private contributions. We are currently seeking funding to not only continue the program at Wayne State University but also to expand the program to reach participants at additional grade levels. Your donation will help to ensure that the GO-GIRL program will continue to grow and serve the needs of adolescent girls free of charge.
Please consider GO-GIRL as you plan your charitable giving each year and share this information with your employer or friends.
